Boating Navigation Area boat rental

Our boating area encompasses East Galveston Bay (east side of the Causeway/I-45 Bridge) to the Texas City Dike and to Pelican Island, as well as Offatts Bayou and Lake Madeleine. Our boating area is approximately 40 square miles combined.

 Galveston Island Boat Rentals boats cannot go anywhere outside of this area. Additionally, you cannot enter the Galveston Channel or go under the Pelican Island Causeway (also known as the 51st St. Bridge) or through the Pelican Island Cut. 

We do not allow boating in the West Bay unless you are having a boat delivered to the West End for an all-day rental ($200 drop off/pickup and launch fee apply).

Our Jon Boats are for use exclusively in the water directly adjacent to Louis' Bait Camp in Hitchcock, Texas off of HWY 6.
